The European network ATTER invites you to its first Open Conference on July 3, 2023 at the Maison des Associations in Rennes, France.
ATTER is a European network working on agroecological transitions for territorial food systems based on a portfolio and observatory of 16 case studies in 5 countries (France, Italy, United Kingdom, Brazil and USA) and organising mobilities and exchanges activities between 100+ members from 19 organisations (research, local authorities, networks and councils).
The ATTER project (2021-2025) is has reached its mid-term and has already organised dozens of mobilities between organisations from different countries and sectors. It has launched its observatory, and produced its first outputs on local food councils or on support for transitions.

ATTER Open Conference
The Open Conference aims at sharing with scientists, political, institutional, economic, associative actors, and citizens, ATTER's analysis and international exchange approach and its first results and lessons learned for the support and analysis of agroecological transitions for territorial food systems.
Organised in Rennes, the meeting will associate personalities from Rennes involved in these themes: Ludovic Brossard (City councilor in charge of sustainable food and urban agriculture, City of Rennes) and Maud Desmas (House of Consumption and Environnement de Rennes) will introduce the conference, while Laurence Maillart-Méhaignerie, President of the National Food Council (CNA) and Member of Parliament from Rennes, will conclude it.
The three thematic sessions will discuss analyses from ATTER and the points of view of actors and researchers outside the project:
- Territorial food systems trajectories
- Public policies for inclusive agroecological transitions
- Mobilisation of local actors for food democracy

A time after lunch will be reserved for flash presentations of books and reports related to food transitions: feel free to contact us to suggest one!
